October 26, 2017 -

The Arizona Risk Management and Safety Association (ARMSA) today announced the official signing of an alliance with Arizona Department of Safety and Health (ADOSH). ADOSH operates under an approved plan with the U.S. Department of Labor to retain jurisdiction over occupational safety and health issues within Arizona which encompasses approximately 2.1 million employees and 130,000 public and private establishments.

The alliance came about as both organizations share the same values and passion for a safe work environment for the employees of our state. Arizona employees have a right to work in a safe environment and to return to their families at the end of the day.

ARMSA’s values align with not just the employees by providing safety resources and training, but with the employer as well to provide a range of discounted consultation services, and to offer a risk management program that is unique in helping safety conscious employers keep their premiums down.

Members of ARMSA are focused on creating a culture of safety within their organizations and we feel they should be financially rewarded for aligning their practices with the interest of their workers’ compensation carrier.
